Introduction to Working in Extreme Temperatures - Hot (OSHA)

The risk of heat illness from extreme temperatures is one of the most serious challenges to the health and safety of workers. It’s not only working outdoors that can cause overheating. Any worker exposed to hot and humid conditions is at risk of heat illness. Boiler rooms, bakeries, kitchens, and any operations involving radiant heat sources can have a high potential for causing heat-related illness.
In this course we will look at the risks and the symptoms and learn what measures can be taken to protect you from heat illness.
