An Introduction to Fittings: Module 2
This is the second of two e-learning training courses, intended to give an overview of the main types of fitting used in the Oil and Gas Industry. NPT, BSP, compression and JIC fittings are all described along with additional material on how to tighten and seal them, pressure ratings and more.

You need no prior knowledge of fittings before taking this course. Although some information is at basic level, all levels of staff may find this useful.
At the end of this course you should be able to recognize fittings and determine their pressure rating, know how to connect and seal them, and know how not to mix incompatible fittings.
This is module concludes with a test requiring an 80% pass mark.
